- This card is the cover card for Gladiator's Assault.
- This card is named "Chaos Neos" because it's a fusion (in terms of Neo-Spacian monsters) of a LIGHT monster and a DARK monster.
- "Elemental HERO Chaos Neos" appears in 3D computer graphics in the Gladiator's Assault commercial.
- Among the Triple Contact Fusions, "Chaos Neos" is unique in that it doesn't remove all other cards on the field when it leaves the field.
- This is the only triple Fusion Material "Neos" Fusion Monster whose effect is altered from the anime when it was released in the TCG/OCG.
- Prior to Series 9, this card, along with "Rainbow Dragon", "Honest" and "Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare" are the only cover cards to be released as Secret Rare cards in a booster pack.
- This card is the only Elemental HERO to be printed Ghost Rare.
- Some prints of the Unlimited Edition of the Ghost Rare version of "Rainbow Dragon" were misprinted with the picture of this card, and some prints of the 1st Edition Ghost Rare version of this card were misprinted with the name of "Rainbow Dragon".
- Due to an error, this card's effect appears in place of the card text of "Rain Storm" card text in the video games Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2008, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force and Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 2.
