- "Flame Swordsman" is a Signature Card of Joey Wheeler.
- The sword he's wielding is also shown in "Salamandra's" artwork.
- The kanji on "Flame Swordsman's" sword means "Flame". (The Kanji of "Fire"(Ho) is written twice so it means "Flame"(Hono).)
- There are two types of artwork for this card.
- A Dark Beginning 1 misprint of this card has its name misprinted as "Cyber-Stein".
- "Flame Swordsman" appears in the artwork of "Speed Spell - Speed Fusion" and "Flame Wall".
