- This card's effects are similar to "Gem-Knight Fusion", but instead of adding this card to the hand, its second effect destroys the monster at the end of the turn.
- This card is the second released OCG Trap Card that supports Fusion Summons, and also the second OCG Trap Card that supports "Gem-Knight" Fusion Summons, with the first being "Pyroxene Fusion".
- "Gem-Knight Crystal" is featured in this card's artwork.
- A doublet is a type of gem composed in two sections. It is sometimes used to imitate other, more expensive gems.
- The effect of this card is similar to the effect of "Miracle Fusion".
