- This card's name is a portmanteau of "goblin" and "Lindbergh," referencing Charles Lindbergh, the first pilot to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean.
- Another possible interpretation is "go blind bird". The "blind" could be a reference to this monster wearing goggles, "bird" could be what this creature is (as its full body isn't shown, it could be a bird), and "go" could be referencing an action of flying.
- This card's effect is similar to "Marauding Captain" and "Tin Goldfish".
- "Gogogo Giant" has a very similar effect to this card, but it targets cards in the graveyard instead of in the hand. It has also been used by Yuma.
