The Invader of Darkness has appeared in the artwork on several cards, commonly depicting his battle against Marauding Captain and Gagagigo. This is most apparent in Absolute End and Spirit Barrier, where he is shown attacking one of Marauding Captain's men, but Gagagigo is standing in the way. Invader of Darkness also seems to be based off of Dr. Doom.
