- The "Invader of Darkness" has appeared in the artwork of several cards, commonly depicting his battle against "Marauding Captain" and "Gagagigo". This is most apparent in "Absolute End" and "Spirit Barrier", where he is shown attacking one of the men of "Marauding Captain", but "Gagagigo" is standing in the way. He also appears in "Penalty Game!" and "Chain Summoning", where he is being pulled out by "Field-Commander Rahz".
- The appearance of the "Invader of Darkness" loosely resembles the Fantastic Four's villain, 'Dr. Doom'.
