- The Bandai version of this card is Level 7, belong to the "White Magic" family and has 1800 ATK and 2500 DEF, whereas the Konami version is Level 6, belong to the Warrior-Type and has 2200 ATK and 1500 DEF.
- This card is featured in the artwork of "Half or Nothing" and in the manga artworks of "Heaven’s Judgment" and "Dazzling Radiance".
- In the anime during the Virtual World arc, Johnson takes the form of Judge Man to act as his Deck Master. Its special ability allows it to destroy every monster on the field at the cost of 1000 life points. This is similar to Judgment Dragon's special ability, except it also destroys spells and traps at the same cost.
- Ironically, Johnson's opponent was Joey Wheeler while Leichter, who took the form of "Jinzo" to act as his Deck Master, was Kaiba's opponent. Both monsters are used by the other one's opponent and are Level 6 and have 1500 DEF. The three monsters used by the other members of The Big Five, "Deepsea Warrior", "Nightmare Penguin", and "Robotic Knight", are all Level 4 with 1800 DEF.
- This monster bears a resemblance to Enma, the Judge of the Underworld in Japanese mythology.
