- This dragon and "Power Tool Dragon" bear several physical similarities, with their only differences being that this dragon is a darker color, has different shaped shoulders and thighs that lack the white circles, and lacks a shovel for a right hand. These differences are because "Power Tool Dragon" is actually a protective armor for "Life Stream Dragon".
- This is the true form of Leo's "Power Tool Dragon", which is identical to "Gearfried the Iron Knight" covering up his true form.
- Also, both their armored forms and non-armored forms have something to do with Equip Cards.
- This is the true form of Leo's "Power Tool Dragon", which is identical to "Gearfried the Iron Knight" covering up his true form.
- This card is the second strongest card out of the Signer Dragons in terms of both ATK and DEF points. The current strongest in terms of ATK points is "Red Dragon Archfiend", while "Ancient Fairy Dragon" has the most DEF points.
- This is the second of the Signer Dragons to not be a Cover Card for the set where it is released, in Life Stream Dragon's case, Extreme Victory. The first is "Red Dragon Archfiend".
- Instead, its mechanized form, "Power Tool Dragon", was the Cover Card for Raging Battle, similar to how "Red Dragon Archfiend/Assault Mode" was the cover card for Crimson Crisis.
- In the episode 142, you can see rubble from his armor breaking off.
- This card is the strongest of the Signer Dragons when it comes to the total between ATK and DEF. The second being "Ancient Fairy Dragon".
- This card has the highest Level of any Tuner Synchro Monsters, as well as the highest Level of any Tuner Monster. It is also the only Tuner Monster of the Signer Dragons.
- This is the only Signer Dragon to have a specific summoning condition.
- This is the only Tuner Synchro Monsters that requires a Synchro Monster as a Synchro Material Monster.
- This card is also the only Tuner Synchro Monster that does not have an effect allowing the player to Synchro Summon during the opponent's Main Phase.
- This is also the only Signer Dragon besides "Red Dragon Archfiend" and "Stardust Dragon" to have an "alternate" Synchro form.
- Many people confuse "Life Stream Dragon" with being the alternate form of "Power Tool Dragon" when in fact this isn't so, considering that (for unknown reasons) "Power Tool Dragon" was created to serve as a protective armor for "Life Stream Dragon", like mentioned above.
- In fact, given this note, "Power Tool Dragon" may have represented Leo's aspirations to do good things and his former naivity (Leo's "outer shell," his former exaggerations that he was a Signer like Luna and "Power Tool Dragon"'s card's toy-like apperance and resemblance to this card) while this card itself represents Leo finally becoming a Signer and, in fact, finding a cause by helping those he cares about (restoring Luna's and Jack Atlas's Life Points (while they were both unconscious) and defeating Aporia and also offering this card to Yusei in his duel against Z-one.)
- "Life Stream Dragon" is the only OCG/TCG card that allows your Life Points to become 4000. In the anime however, there are two anime-only cards who happens to also possess very similar effect, they are "Darkness Bramble" and "Darkness Seed".
- This card's effect of preventing itself from being destroyed is similar to that of "Power Tool Dragon", except that "Power Tool Dragon" needs to send an Equip Spell Card equipped to it while "Life Stream Dragon" needs to remove from play an Equip Spell Card in your Graveyard.
