• It is based off the mallet with the same name, from a Japanese fairytale "Issun-Boushi" or "One Inch Boy". It is similar to Tom Thumb. The Uchide no Kozuchi could grant any wish with one swing, and it was used on Issun-Boushi to make him grow to normal size.

• "Magical Mallet" has a similar effect to "Reload", but is a Normal Spell Card, not a Quick-Play Spell Card like "Reload". The trade off is the ability to send any number of cards from your hand to your Deck, rather than the whole hand.
• In the anime episode 4, Chazz used this card, but it allowed him to pick out cards from his deck instead of randomly drawing.
