• This card's effect is similar to Barrel Behind the Door and Spell of Pain.

• The tablet in this card is the same one shown on Energy-Absorbing Monolith. Both make a reference to "2001: A Space Odyssey". Also, the monolith in this card's art is falling and crashing to earth (as revealed by the dust cloud and upturned dirt impact on the side of the monolith in the card in a way purposely suggesting a straight descent and impact). Obviously, the fall damaged it and its original damage-converting nature is now corrupted and inverted from giving life to taking it. An inversion of the two cards' effects.
