- This card has the number 39 on his left shoulder.
- This card shares the same ATK and DEF as "Stardust Dragon" and "Elemental Hero Neos" as well as the same ATK as "Dark Magician". Incidentally, these cards are the Signature cards of Yusei Fudo, Jaden Yuki, and Yugi Muto, respectively, the previous protagonists from the first three series of the anime while this card is Yuma Tsukumo's ace Monster.
- This monster's pose is similar to that of "Blade Knight".
- This card is one of the first three Exceed Monsters to be released. The second is "Gachigachi Gantetsu" and the third is "Gurensaurus".
- This card appears in the artwork of "Exceed Energy" and "Emperor's Surge".
- The name "Aspiring Emperor Hope" may be symbolic to its owner in the anime - Yuma, who aspires to be a Duel Champion (highest rank, like an Emperor), and has an unyielding amount of hope.
- In anime, when this card removes an Exceed Material Monster, it absorbs it through its chest.
- This monster seems related to the story of Pandora's box. The god, Zeus, told Pandora to not open the forbidden box, but she got curious. In the result, she opened it releasing all the evil into the world. Quickly, she closed the box leaving only "Hope" behind inside.
- This monster currently has the highest original attack of all the Number monsters.
