- The jewel on this monster's head, as well as the spines on its back, resemble Yuya's pendant.
- This card's flavor text possibly references Yuya's Japanese Summon chant for "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" in the anime, as well as his Summon chant for Pendulum Summons.
- The background of this card's artwork also resembles the background shown when a Pendulum Summon is performed in the anime.
