- This card's Japanese name contains a pun: the union of "plus" (プラス purasu) and "turtle" (タートル tātoru) forms the word "star" (スター sutā), which gives a second meaning of "Plus Star Turtle" to this card's name, reflecting its effect.
- This card's International name also makes sense in relation to its effect. This monster (in the anime) uses its rubber stamp to aptly "stamp" two Levels upon a monster(s).
