  • The original Lamia was a demon in Greek mythology. She was formerly one of the many lovers of Zeus, until a vengeful Hera slew her children in revenge. Apparently mad with grief, Lamia began preying on and devouring other children, turning into a demonic creature. In modern times, the name "lamia" is often synonymous with "vampire" or "ghoul".
  • The Hydra was a many headed serpent-like chthonic water beast from Greek mythology. By cutting off one of its heads, more would grow in its place. It was slain by the hero Heracles during the second of his Ten Labors.
  • The heads of Reptilianne Hydra resemble the heads of Evil Dragon Ananta because there is some plates on each head that are similar to the plates on the main head of Evil Dragon Ananta.
