  • This card's Japanese name ("Satan Claus") is a play on the fact that Satan is an anagram of Santa. This monster also has other Christmas references:
    • It ATK and DEF (1200 and 2500) are a reference to the date of Christmas (December 25, which can be shortened to 12/25).
    • Its effect allows the player who controls it to draw a card, which is a reference to the tradition of gift-giving at Christmas.
    • It has reindeer horns.
  • This monster's appearance could potentially be related to the Krampus, a demonic companion of Saint Nicholas in some interpretations that punishes naughty children.
