  • In the anime, the original reason that "Satellite Cannon" couldn't be destroyed was because it's summoned up in space, too high for any weak monster to reach. Seto Kaiba's "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" on the other hand, being incredibly strong (and Level 8), was able to fly up and destroy it.
    • This was mirrored in real life by preventing this card from being destroyed by any monster that's level 7 or lower(those that are too "weak").
  • Satellite Cannon bears a resemblance to the satellite that Sartorius tried to gain access to during his final duel with Jaden in season two of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX.
