- This card is the Limit Over Accel Synchro Summon version of "Stardust Dragon".
- In the anime, in the alternate future Yusei would have developed Delta Accel Synchro by summoning "Cosmic Blazar Dragon". This, however, was changed due to Z-one's appearance in the current timeline.
- This card is the only upgraded form of "Stardust Dragon" to not include the word "Star" in its name.
- However, a quasar is a star-like phenomena that emits powerful cosmic radiation across the electromagnetic spectrum.
- This card is the only "Stardust Dragon" counterpart that's not a "Wind" Attribute.
- This card may, however, be an evolution of "Shooting Star Dragon", due to the fact that it has "Shooting" in its name instead of "Star". This fact could show why it does not have "Star" in its name. Additionally, this card is an evolution of Shooting Star Dragon because if Shooting Quasar Dragon is removed from the field, all cards on the field are as well, and Shooting Star Dragon can be Special Summoned (However, this Special Summon is treated as a Synchro Summon).
- Yusei summons this card using "Life Stream Dragon", "Red Dragon Archfiend", "Black Rose Dragon", "Black-Winged Dragon", "Ancient Fairy Dragon" in Episode 150 of the 5Ds anime.
- This is also shown in this card's artwork, with 5 "Synchro Rings" behind it, each colored differently.
- The summoning chant for this card is "When concentrated stars become one, new bonds will enlighten the future. Become the path its light shines upon! Limit Over Accel Synchro!! Light of Evolution! Shooting Quasar Dragon!!"
- This is the only "advanced" form of Stardust Dragon that does not require "Stardust Dragon" to be summoned.
- This card's Synchro requirements (1 Tuner Synchro Monster + 2 or more non-Tuner Synchro Monsters), and Level/ATK/DEF is the same as "T.G. Halberd Cannon".
- This card is the only card with the effect of Special Summoning a Synchro Monster that is treated as a Synchro Summon.
- This monster has all upgraded effects of all signer dragons; The negation ability of "Stardust Dragon", the battle oriented effect of "Red Dragon Archfiend", the Effect Damage Negation of "Life Stream Dragon" and "Black-Winged Dragon", the destruction ability of "Black Rose Dragon" and the Special Summon ability of "Ancient Fairy Dragon".
- This is the only advanced form of Stardust Dragon without some mathematical formula for finding the increase in ATK and DEF from Stardust Dragon.
- This card's body resembles the Temporal Gods bodies. The monsters that this card came about to counter.
