Card Trivia:The Suppression Pluto
- This is the only "Legendary Planet" based on a dwarf planet. However, when the Yu-Gi-Oh GX manga was initially released, Pluto was still considered a full planet.
- A picture of the real Pluto appears in the backround, recognizable by the heart-shaped Tombaugh Regio on the bottom-right.
- In terms of this monster's visual design, it also bears a strong resemblance to Osamu Tezuka's manga character Pluto (the main villain of the famous "Greatest Robot in History" arc of the Astro Boy franchise) as well as Naoki Urasawa's re-imagining, also titled Pluto. While the creatures differ in that Tezuka's character is a robot and "The Suppression Pluto" is organic-looking, the two share similar designs, demonic forms, and the use of extendable whips and horns in battle.
