- This is the second Fusion Monster seen in Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL (with the first being "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Statue Dragon"), but the first Fusion Monster from this series to be released in the OCG/TCG.
- This card is also the only ZEXAL Fusion Monster that is not the trump card of an archeype ("Blue-Eyes Ultimate Statue Dragon" is the trump card of the "Statue" monsters, while "Electromagnetic Magnedragon" it that of the "Magnets").
- This is the second "Photon" Monster whose name does not begin with "Photon". The first was "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon".
- This card's physical appearance contains the three Primary Colors: its left side is red, its right side is yellow, and its tail is blue.
- This card's effect is similar to the effect of "Multiple Piece Golem".
- Both physically and thematically, this card is similar to "Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon" and "Cyber Twin Dragon".
- As a further similarity to "Cyber Twin Dragon", there seems to be a slot for a third head on this card's body, possibly indicating a future upgraded form.
- This card is the first, and (to date) the only "Photon" Fusion Monster.
