- This card can be searched by "Trap Trick", "Trap Tracks", "Lady Labrynth of the Silver Castle", "Lilith, Lady of Lament", "Triple Tactics Thrust", "Angel of Blue Tears", "Farewelcome Labrynth", "Labrynth Set-Up", and other generic searchers.
- This card can be used as protection against your opponent's card effects that would affect your monsters, e.g. destroying them, negating their effects, taking control of them, etc.
- This card can also be used to protect your monsters from being attacked and destroyed.
- This card can be useful for preventing your opponent from using cards that rely on you controlling a monster, e.g. "Cyber Dragon", "Bujincarnation", "Last Chapter of the Noble Knights", etc.
- Use this card to return Pendulum Summoned Pendulum Monsters to your hand (that were previously in the Extra Deck), so that you can possibly re-use them in your Pendulum Zones later.
- This card can be useful in "Mist Valley" Decks.
- This card can be used to re-use monster effects, such as Flip monsters and "Wind-Up" monsters (the latter being a substitute or a complement to "Legendary Wind-Up Key").
- Combo with "Magical Hats" to essentially add 2 Spell/Trap Cards from your Deck to your hand.
- Combo with "Fortune Lady Light"
- If you control "Future Visions", you can then Summon "Fortune Lady Light" to trigger its effect again.
- If a card effect is activated that would destroy your Set "Call of the Haunted" (or similar card), activate this card first and then chain "Call of the Haunted to it, so that at least you gain some utility out of it (adding a monster from your Graveyard to your hand).
- In an "Exodia" Deck, you can Special Summon a "Forbidden One" monster from your Deck (such as via "Mystic Tomato"), and then use this card to add it to your hand.
- Search several Exodia pieces at once (or even all of them) with "Level Resist Wall", then use this card to get them to your hand.
