The collector's cards (コレクターズカード korekutāzu kādo) are a collection of 21 Holofoil Rare promotional cards released by Konami before the premiere of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Card Game (OCG).
A number of cards' artworks were reused in the OCG. However, the cards are not legal in the OCG.
The collection consists of 18 Monster Cards and three Spell Cards. The monsters only have a Level, ATK, and DEF, and the Spells feature only an effect.
Ten collector's cards were released as Yu-Gi-Oh! Monster Capsule: Breed and Battle promotional cards. Another ten were released as Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters promotional cards. The last card, "Seiyaryu", was distributed as the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters meeting experience card. Five more copies of "Seiyaryu" were prizes in a raffle by Akamaru Jump.
