  • Do remember that this card's effect only prevents card effects that specifically destroy. This card will not prevent the monster from being returned to the hand or deck (e.g. the effects of "Legendary Jujitsu Master"), simply being sent to the Graveyard (Eg. the effect of "Dark End Dragon"), being banished (Eg. the effect of "Dimensional Prison"), or being Tributed for a Kaiju.
  • Ideal monsters to Summon with this card are monsters that have additional protective effects and/or are difficult to destroy by battle. If their stats are high enough you can even supplant the protection with cards like "Forbidden Lance". For instance, with "Obelisk the Tormentor", you have a 4000 ATK monster that can't be targeted or destroyed by card effects, and is difficult to beat in battle.
  • This card's protective effect can circumvent self-destruction effects of the monsters you bring out.
    • Summon a "B.E.S." monster with this card and you have a monster that can't be destroyed by battle and won't self-destruct when it runs out of counters.
    • Tribute Summon an "Earthbound Immortal" and you have an unattackable direct attacker that will not self-destruct even if there is no Field Spell active.
    • Tribute Summon "Yubel" so that you don't have to continuously Tribute monsters to maintain her presence. However, you won't be able to advance her to "Yubel - Terror Incarnate" and beyond with this combo.
  • Combos with "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon":
    • Special Summon this card, then banish it to Special Summon REDMD, then use REDMD's effect to revive the monster you just discarded (provided you discarded a Dragon).
    • Tribute Summon REDMD using this card so that you have a nigh-indestructible monster that can continue to revive other Dragons. You can even revive this card itself to continue Tribute Summon other monsters, leading to a field of indestructible beaters.
  • Use the monster under the influence of this card's effect as your target for the effect of "Scrap Dragon" to avoid losing field advantage while still destroying an opponent's card.
