Personality

Cyanos is a shy machine that supports Spectra in world domination. Unlike her allies Zard and Solferina, Cyanos lacks the urge to destroy Karma however. Instead, she is more interested in human culture and what they made, innocently questioning Zard whenever he makes a human reference to understand them, such as what 'cool' and 'picnic' mean. Cyanos also becomes very interested in Roze when she is born, though, possibly due to Zard's influence, becomes convinced she is the master and Roze would be her pet. After losing multiple times to her in test combat however, Cyanos relents and practically becomes Roze's lackey.

Despite Cyanos' innocence, she also has a vengeful side. After Zard's and Solferina's deaths, caused by Azalea's betrayal, she confronts Camellia and attests that she cherished the time she had with them, and defending their way of life as it had simply been what humans had programmed them to be and declaring she didn't consider them bad people.

It is revealed that Cyanos is a third-generation machine, Camellia hinting that Cyanos was made without the original directive to destroy Karma as Zard and Solferina did. As such, when Raye asks if Cyanos wishes to continue destroying Karma, she becomes confused implying she only wanted Karma destroyed because Zard and Solferina wanted that themselves. After defecting to Karma, Cyanos is overjoyed in making new friends in the form of Aileron and Pylon, liking their hugs and satisfied in being considered Roze's friend, and joins Raye and Roze in journeying the world together once Azalea and Camellia are defeated, which marked the ultimate end of the Spectra Union.[1]

Etymology

The Three Pillars of Spectra appear to be named after colors; "Cyanos" means "blue" in Greek.
