  • This card is named after the royal straight flush (or simply "royal flush"), a poker hand containing 10, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace of the same suit. This is the best possible hand in Ace-high poker games (unless using wild cards).
    • This card's Summoning condition requiring "Royal Straight" and its own effect's cost requiring the player to send a monster of each Level from 1 and 5 from the hand and/or Deck to the Graveyard are also based on the royal straight flush.
