Desert, known as Wasteland in the English manga, is a field that was shown in Duelist Kingdom. It was used by Yami Yugi to power-up his monsters like "Mammoth Graveyard".
In early video games the field can be changed to Desert, by activating "Wasteland", which granted the ATK and DEF changing effects of "Wasteland" to the affected area.
