Recollection of Stories is a Selection Pack in the video game Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel. It was released in-game on January 10, 2023 until January 31, 2023.
Description
Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL's first anniversary is fast approaching.
This Pack revisits some of the fascinating cards whose stories were introduced in Solo Mode, including the "Monarch" and "Beetrooper" archetypes.
Recommended for Duelists looking for cards obtainable through Solo Mode or cards that synergize well with their Deck.Erebus the Underworld Monarch
A Level 8 Zombie-Type monster that shines in "Monarch" Decks.
If this card is Tribute Summoned, you can choose 2 types of "Monarch" Spell and Trap Cards from your hand and/or Deck and send them to the Graveyard, and then return one card from the opponent's hand, field, or Graveyard to their Deck. Since this effect does not target any cards, if other effects are activated in response and the situation changes, you will be able to flexibly select which card to return to the Deck.
When this monster is in the Graveyard, you may use its effect to add a monster in your Graveyard with 2400 or more ATK and 1000 DEF to your hand. You can also add this monster back to your hand from the Graveyard with this effect.
Gladiator Beast Heraklinos
A Level 8 Beast-Warrior-Type Fusion Monster that can be Special Summoned from the Extra Deck by returning 1 "Gladiator Beast Laquari" and 2 "Gladiator Beasts" back into the Deck from your Monster Zone.
Not only does it have a formidable 3000 ATK, but also a Quick Effect that you can activate in response to a Spell or Trap Card activation to negate and destroy it.
To negate the Spell or Trap Card activation, you need to discard a card in your hand as a cost. If you have multiple cards in your hand, you might be able to negate Spell and Trap Cards equal to the number of cards in your hand. Note that this effect cannot be activated against Counter Trap Cards.
Shiranui Sunsaga
This Level 10 Zombie-Type Synchro Monster that works well in Decks with "Shiranui" monsters and other Zombie-Type Synchro Monsters.
If this card is Special Summoned, you can return any number of your Zombie-Type Synchro Monsters that are in your Graveyard or banished back into your Extra Deck. You can then select and destroy as many cards on your opponent's field as the number of cards returned to your Extra Deck. This effect doubles as a means to reuse your Synchro Monsters and also clear the cards on your opponent's field.
Also, if a face-up Zombie-Type monster in your Monster Zone would be destroyed in battle or with an effect, you can banish a "Shiranui" monster from your Graveyard to protect it from destruction.
Digital Bug Registrider
A Level 3 Insect-Type monster with three effects.
When you successfully Normal Summon a Level 3 Insect-Type monster, you may Special Summon this monster from your hand and change the Level of both this card and the Normal Summoned monster to 5 or 7. This card also has an effect to increase the ATK and DEF of a monster Xyz Summoned using it as material by 1000. With these effects, this monster can support Xyz Summoning for Rank 3, 5, or 7 Insect-Type Xyz Monsters.
It is also worth mentioning that its effect that changes the battle position of an Insect-Type monster on your field can also enable you to trigger effects like those of "Digital Bug" monsters that activate when a card changes battle position.
Demise, Supreme King of Armageddon
A Level 10 Fiend-Type Ritual Monster.
While in the hand or Monster Zone, the card is treated as "Demise, King of Armageddon." As such, this monster can also take advantage of "End of the World" and other support cards.
By paying 2000 LP, you can destroy all cards on the field except this monster, and also deal 200 damage to your opponent for each card on their field that you destroyed. This effect becomes easier to use when the monster Tributed or used for the Ritual Summoning was a Ritual Monster, as you won't need to pay Life Points. Try activating it when you have the chance!

- The eighth card in each pack is R rarity or higher.
- If 10 packs are purchased at once, the eighth card of the 10th pack is instead guaranteed to be SR rarity or higher.
