* While this card's effect is powerful in any Deck, it can be absolutely devastating in a Deck dedicated to Spell Counter engines. "Arcanite Magician's" effect allows it to take Spell Counters off of any card, not just itself; use cards that instantly generate many Spell Counters, such as "Magical Citadel of Endymion", "Pitch-Black Power Stone" and "Magical Exemplar". That way, when "Arcanite Magician" is Summoned, it can take any number of counters off of other cards on your side of the field to sweep your opponent's field clean. While "Arcanite Magician/Assault Mode" is better suited for destroying an entire field, the effect of "Arcanite Magician" to take Spell Counters off of any card makes it better suited for maintenance, allowing you to destroy whatever cards your opponent plays during their turns and almost always having an open field to strike in.

Dudi Nishaw (デュッディ・ニーショウ Dyuddi Nīshou) is a character in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! anime. He is the commander of the Dudi Fleet in the Dudi Ducasse Star System.

* Don't forget that there is no limit to Spell Counters that can be placed on this card, but it doesn't gain them normally, so if you use the effects of cards like "Apprentice Magician" or "Spell Power Grasp" you can place Spell Counters on this card to increase its ATK.

Nishaw is a stocky dark-skinned alien with a theme of duality in his appearance and outfit. He has heterochromia: his right eye is blue with a green crescent-shaped highlight, and his left eye is red with a lilac crescent-shaped highlight; a purple stripe also runs down the right side of his face and across his eye. The hair on the right side of his head is wine-red and neatly trimmed and styled in a military fashion, while the hair on the left side of his head is grey and limp, falling to his shoulder, and he also wears a heavy brace on his left temple.

* If you plan to Summon "Arcanite Magician/Assault Mode", use the effect of the "Arcanite Magician" you are going to Tribute to destroy cards so you can make the most of the Spell Counters, and preserve the counters on "Arcanite Magician/Assault Mode" for later.
+
Nishaw wears a predominantly black coat with a different secondary color on each side of his body in different patterns: on the right side his coat is also purple over the forearm, shoulder and ribs, with a small golden epaulette and a golden cuff, a golden design resembling half the Eye of Wdjat also decorates the bottom , while the left side has an uninterrupted maroon color on the inner side of his arm and most of the coat. A heavy metal device resembling Professor Viper's Duel Vest is on his left shoulder; a cuff on the same style is on his left wrist. Nishaw's gloves are both burgundy and his clothing beneath his coat is predominantly brown. He wears mismatched knee-high boots: the boot on his right leg being purple with a plain black cuff, and the boot on his left leg being maroon with a heavy metal brace around his knee and ankle. Nishaw binds his coat with an uneven belt that is wider on the left side and has a clasp combining the gold of the right side of his body and the braces on his left; this belt also holds his dowsing rods behind his back.

* One of "Arcanite Magician's" other useful features is that he only has 400 ATK as soon as it is Synchro Summoned to the Field. Because its ATK boost is due to his effect, and happens after it is Synchro Summoned, it is immune to "Bottomless Trap Hole".
+
Personality
Nishaw is characterized as extremely indecisive, a trait exhibited in both his design and his Deck.

* This card works well with "Tempest Magician". By discarding cards to place Spell Counters you can easily boost this card's ATK considerably. Biography

Dudi and his fleet stand neutral in the crisis concerning the Velgear Star Cluster, due to their overall indecisiveness. As Mutsuba Town spaceship was approaching the Velgearian cluster, Dudi intercepted the spaceship and had his fleet stage an invasion.[2] Yudias challenged Dudi to a Duel for safe passage and to prove that Rush Duels can be used to win the war peacefully, a Duel which Dudi ended up winning, but he let Yudias pass through anyways.[3]

Nishaw's Deck reflects his indecisive personality; his monsters have the same ATK and DEF, are alternatively described with heroic and dark terms, and have names based on terms relating to decisions.

Despite the limit for copies of the same card being three per Deck, Dudi's Deck is shown to contain four copies of "Heroic Beast Fudan", though as not all four copies were directly played in a single Duel, it's likely the result of an animation error.
