"They Came from Planet Earth" is the forty sixth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! anime. It first aired in Japan on February 19, 2023.

A mysterious object has crashed into Mutsuba Town. As it turns out, it's actually an energy being that has flown all the way from Earth. According to Manabu, the being could potentially possess anyone who was near the crash site. As Manabu goes look for the person who is possessed, he challenges Rovian to a Duel, since she's been acting rather strangely.

Featured Duel: Manabu Sogetsu vs Rovian Kirishima

The Duel is conducted as a Rush Duel.

Turn 1: Manabu
Manabu's hand contains "Chromatographicus", "Cremation Dog Nitro", "Flame Seeker", "Burning Flame Examiner Emperor" and "Chemicalizer Red". Manabu Normal Summons "Nitro" (400/400). As "Nitro" was Normal Summoned this turn, Manabu activates its effect to inflict 400 damage to Rovian, but he can only attack with Pyro Type monsters this turn (Rovian: 4000 → 3600 LP). Manabu Normal Summons "Flame Seeker" (1400/400). Manabu Tributes "Flame Seeker" to Tribute Summon "Burning Flame Examiner Emperor" (1800/1000). Manabu activates the effect of "Burning Flame Examiner Emperor", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to decrease its ATK by 300 until the end of this turn, then if he sent a Pyro Type monster to the Graveyard this way, he inflicts damage to Rovian equal to that monster's Level x 100. Manabu sends "Blast Examiner" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard ("Burning Flame Examiner Emperor": 1800/1000 → 1500/1000) (Rovian: 3600 → 3100 LP). Manabu Tributes "Nitro" and "Burning Flame Examiner Emperor" to Tribute Summon "Chromatographicus" (2500/1600). Manabu activates the Equip Spell Card "Chemicalizer Red", equipping it to a face-up Pyro Type monster on his field to increase its ATK by 300 and prevent it from being destroyed by Rovian's Trap Card effects. Manabu equips "Chemicalizer Red" to "Chromatographicus" ("Chromatographicus: 2500/1600 → 2800/1600).

Turn 2: Rovian
Rovian's hand contains "Machvio of the Ultimate Aria", "Robbarim", "Ampler Glee", "Strong Arms - Aegislide" and "Dark Arms - Parastand". Rovian Normal Summons "Ampler Glee" (1500/0) and "Robbarim" (600/600). Rovian Tributes "Ampler Glee" and "Robbarim" to Tribute Summon "Machvio" (2400/1400). The effect of Machvio increases its ATK by the total number of Equip Spell Cards equipped to it and the number of face-up Normal Monsters on Manabu's field x 500 ("Machvio: 2400/1400 → 2900/1400). Rovian activates the Equip Spell Card "Strong Arms - Aegislide", equipping it to a face-up Psychic Type monster on her field to prevent it from being destroyed by Manabu's monster effects and prevent both players from Special Summoning Level 7 or 8 monsters from the hand or Graveyard while it is face-up. Rovian equips "Strong Arms - Aegislide" to "Machvio" ("Machvio: 2900/1400 → 3400/1400). As Rovian's LP are lower than Manabu's and she has no other face-up "Dark Arms - Parastand" on her field, she activates the Equip Spell Card "Dark Arms - Parastand", equipping it to a face-up Psychic Type monster on her field to increase its ATK by the difference between her LP and Manabu's LP. Rovian equips "Dark Arms - Parastand" to "Machvio" ("Machvio: 3400/1400 → 4800/1400). "Machvio" attacks and destroys "Chromatographicus" (Manabu: 4000 → 2000 LP) ("Machvio: 4800/1400 → 4500/1400).

Turn 3: Manabu
Manabu draws "Super Assistant Achi", "Doctor Red Robe", "Red Riser", "Chemicalize Salamander" and "Fusion". Manabu Normal Summons "Achi" (0/1500), "Doctor Red Robe" (1500/0) and "Red Riser" (300/300) ("Machvio": 4500/1400 → 5500/1400). As "Red Riser" was Normal Summoned this turn, Manabu activates its effect to add a "Chemicalizer Red" from his Graveyard to his hand. Manabu adds "Chemicalizer Red" from his Graveyard to his hand. Manabu Tributes "Doctor Red Robe" and "Red Riser" to Tribute Summon "Chemicalize Salamander" (2500/1500) ("Machvio": 5500/1400 → 5000/1400). Manabu activates the effect of "Chemicalize Salamander", shuffling three Pyro Type monsters from his Graveyard into the Deck to decrease the ATK of all face-up monsters on Rovian's field by the number of monsters in her Graveyard x 100 until the end of this turn. Manabu shuffles "Red Riser", "Burning Flame Examiner Emperor" and "Chromatographicus" from his Graveyard into the Deck ("Machvio": 5000/1400 → 4800/1400). Manabu activates the Spell Card "Fusion" to Fusion Summon by sending face-up monsters from his field to the Graveyard as material. Manabu sends "Achi" and "Chemicalize Salamander" from his field to the Graveyard and Fusion Summons "Alchemicalize Salamandra" (3000/2000) in Attack Position ("Machvio": 4800/1400 → 4300/1400). As "Alchemicalize Salamandra" was Special Summoned during this Main Phase, Manabu activates its effect to destroy all Spell/Traps on the field, then he can decrease the ATK of all face-up monsters on Rovian's field by the number of Spell Cards destroyed this way x 1000 until the end of this turn. Manabu destroys "Sturdy Arms - Aegislide" and "Dark Arms - Parastand" on Rovian's field ("Machvio": 4300/1400 → 200/1400). Manabu activates "Chemicalizer Red". Manabu equips "Chemicalizer Red" to "Alchemicalize Salamandra" ("Alchemicalize Salamandra": 3000/2000 → 3300/2000). "Alchemicalize Salamandra" attacks and destroys "Machvio" (Rovian: 3100 → 0 LP).
