During a Duel between Jaden Yuki and Blair Flannigan (who was revealed to have been in disguise as a boy before accidentally being exposed), Blair's "Maiden in Love" used a combo, which, revealed in the Duel Monsters Spirit World, allowed her to charm Jaden's Elemental HEROes "Avian" and "Sparkman". While under the Maiden's influence, they had obeyed her requests to attack Jaden, until he summoned "Burstinatrix" in the belief that a female monster could bring "Avian" and "Sparkman" back to their senses. She insulted "Avian" and "Sparkman", calling them pathetic and commanding them to come back where they belong when Jaden used "Burst Return" to return all other "Elemental HEROes" on the field besides "Burstinatrix" to his hand.
