The monster, "Ancient Gear" can be special summoned if an "Ancient Gear" is on the field. Must the monster on the filed literally be "Ancient Gear" or can I SS an "Ancient Gear" if a monster including Ancient Gear in the title is already on the filed, for example Ancient Gear Beast.
Hope that can be followed.

its any monster with ancient gear so ancient gear beast is on the field, sp summon the ancient gear and tribute for the ancient gear golem.... hope i made since --72.222.240.70 16:44, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
- I don't think so, but I may be wrong. The lore states: "While an "Ancient Gear" is face-up on your side of the field, you can Special Summon this card from your hand in Attack Position." I think if it meant any monster in the Ancient Gear Archetype it would say "Ancient Gear Monster" like If you have a face-up Ancient Gear monster...etc. But I could be wrong. - It only works with "Ancient Gear". It doesn't work with "Ancient Gear Beast" or any other Ancient Gear Monster. --Deus Ex Machina 17:36, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
