Forum:Card Facts

Are the facts on card pages really needed? Because all of the info on facts is just repeating what is already on the page, and I doubt loads of people go down to the bottom of the page. Meklords12 (talk • contribs) 15:44, October 21, 2011 (UTC)

Do you mean by copy & paste the lore of what card said? Some card can be hard to read while it's in that size. And we have to put in various language, included Anime/Manga version, so the other users with different aware of language can understand them. --FredCat 17:11, October 21, 2011 (UTC)

I think they're referring to the large "Facts about ..." boxes that appear on card pages, below the categories box. These are automatically inserted by SMW, and there's no way for us to turn off their display across the whole wiki short of making a request to Wikia (and if we did so, there'd be no way to make them display again on any individual page without having Wikia undo that change, which would make them display across the wiki again). If you want to hide these pages for yourself, insert the code div.smwfact { display: none !important; } in your wikia.css or monobook.css (depending on whether you use the Wikia or Monobook skin) file. 「ディノ奴千？！」^{? · ☎ Dinoguy1000} 01:54, October 24, 2011 (UTC)
