Ok first of all, I have no idea how you people do that thing that allows you to hide the deck. That is pretty cool, and if anyone can tell me how to do that it would be greatly appreciated. My email is [email protected], that way we don't have to take up space on this forum. Next, and here is the problem, I primarily play only 2 people and both have different strategies, one is my girlfriend, and the other is her brother in law. His strategy is quite simple, he has no monsters with lower than 1600 attack, and if they do, they are there for his tributes, like The Trojan Horse. Or Flip Effect like Man Eater Bug. When he doesn't get his monsters, he has Spell and Trap cards, that destroy monsters in various ways, ie Sakeretsu Armor, Remote Revenge, and DeSpell. He can either destroy my magic cards, or my monsters or traps.

My girlfriend uses the basic 5D Starter Deck, with modifications that I made. And she has 52 cards in her deck. She seems to defeat me more often then not as well. She doesn't really have a strategy, either she is still rather new at the game, and hasn't developed the multiple strategies, that deck that I made her can do.

My problem playing either one of them, is that they are more apt to sweep me in a match, then I am to get at least one duel victory. I have four decks all with 50 cards, and it seems that I have made modifications after modifications. Each time I make a modification, I seem to get closer, but was wondering if you guys could help me on making it better. I have placed all the cards, I can think of, and the only other modifications I can think of are thinning it to 40 cards. I need help with that, as all the cards, seem worth keeping to me. Here is my Dino/Iron Chain/Synchro Deck:

you have too many strategies going on, focus on one

basically yeah. you have dinos, severall iron chains, what? an old vindictive? dinosaurs go with dinosaurs that focus on removing dinosaurs from play and power up Tyranno Infinity, iron chains have their own "mill" sorta deck or use it in a chain town deck like mine (XP), and pls, if u decide to go iron chains, IC blaster sucks. the ones u should focus on are repairman, coil, and snake. then, old vindictive can be used in a deck with an Apprentice Magician search engine and whilst remaining field presence, you could tribute them for a monarch. choose one theme to focus on then we could help you more from there. Ok I see your point,

My problem with that is, I want to use Synchro Monsters, so maybe if you guys could suggest some tuner monsters to go with that deck, I can bring back the Dino Rage Structure deck, which is primarily what that is. But what tuner would you suggest, so that I can bring out the Synchro Monsters. And I would still like to keep it at 40 cards, so going off the Dino Rage Structure Deck, which cards should I remove, and which cards should I add. To be able to Synchro Summon cards. Should I keep Stardust Dragon, and Black Rose Dragon. Taking out the Iron Chain monsters, sort of makes Iron Chain Dragon weak. What Synchro Monsters do you suggest?

Well, If your reason of putting iron chain cards inside is to power up iron chain dragon, then dont bother putting any iron chain monsters. Like jetronix suggested, iron chain monsters have their own mill sorta deck. :P Coz Iron Chain Dragon is powerful itself. With an attack power of 2500 for a level 6, it shouldn't have any problems with attack power. Keep your blackrose dragon, as it has ability to clear the entire field. Take out Old Vindictive Magician, doesn't help in a dino deck, and Share the Pain, Field Barrier (waste of space in a dino deck). Take out Frequency Magician, Iron Chain Coil, Water Spirit and replace with 3 Krebons. These Tuners are more efficent and fast. If you're using these tuners, be sure to put in at least 2 Emergency Teleport. Take out Poison Chain and Paralyzing Chain for 2 Mausoleum of the Emperor. Take out Hiro's Shadow Scout, Kabazauls, Hyper Hammerhead for 2 more Black Tyranno and 1 more Super Conductor Tyranno. These will power up the dinosaurs first. I don't have any Mausoleum of the Emporors, is there another a card, that has a comparable effect. I also don't have 2 more Black Tyrannos, or an extra Super Conductor Tyranno. What I do have is another Ultimate Tyranno, and multiple Dark Driceratops. How many Tuner monsters, should I have in the deck if there are only 40 cards to be in it.

Ok, taking your suggestions, I have made changes accordingly. Here is the newest deck list that I have:

I only have one Emergency Teleport and it is in my Zombie/Psychic/Synchro Deck, where every tuner monster I have is a Psychic Monster. As for your other suggestions, I applied what I could. I don't have another Black Tyranno, or Super Conductor Tyranno. This deck is the basic Dino Rage Structure Deck, with some modifications, and I would like to get these 50 cards down to 40 cards if at all possible.

My thoughts on cards to remove, and my reason for it are as follows:

Spell/Trap

Magical Mallet x1, I already have one in the deck, don't need 2

Raise Body Heat, it is a good card, but needed to pull one out so as to remove 5 spell/traps

Riryoku, can't think of a reason to keep it in there.

Sebeks Blessing, I can heal myself with Psychic Life Trancer, and Survival Instinct

Mesmeric Control, to me it seems only effective, when your opponent uses alot of Defense and Flip Effects.

Monsters

Ultimate Tyranno, have alot of Tribute monsters, but don't seem to have enough cards to get them out.

Black Ptera, utilizing it's effect, for Super Conductor Tyranno no need for multiple copies

Hyper Hammerhead, it has a great effect, but the damage you take could be not so good.

Babycerasaurus, not a strong attack, but it's level is 2. Do you keep it or Quillbolt Hedgehog, for your synchro Summons.

Kabazauls, I personally think it's a good card for being 4th level. But I need to get down to 40 cards, and with 40 cards The Trojan Horse is more effective for my Tribute Summons.

Advice on my choices of removal

I was wondering what you all thought of the changes, that I had made. I know, that you all don't like to comment on Structure and Starter Decks. I also know that this deck list is basically the Dino Rage Structure Deck, with some Tuner Monsters added. But I played the deck last night, and got beat in like 5 turns. By a 1600 attack monster. If any of you have other ideas on what cards to add or remove, to get me down to the best 40 that would be great.
