Forum:Other YGO card games?

So I know I'm not around as often as I used to be but I hope you'll take the time to listen to me talk about something interesting. I seem to have run across not just one but several different Yu-Gi-Oh! card games from the early days of the franchise distinct from the both the one we all know and possibly love and the original Bandai one. They were all based on the Toei anime and featured monsters from that anime that the Bandai game didn't use, such as "Demonomist." Each of them used the same monster art but different card borders, and I've found no less than five distinct types so far: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.

Of Type #1 I actually know a bit - they were given out as gum prizes (not to be confused with "Speedroid Gum Prize") by a candy company called Top's (not to be confused with the actual card company Topps) around the time Vol.2 of the OCG was released (so, yes, they were still making Toei products by then) and the full set consisted of fifty cards. Of the others I know nothing. When they were released, their rules, if they were even officially licensed - zilch.

So would it be worth this Wiki covering these, if we could find out more about them? Rod (talkcontribs) 20:46, August 16, 2017 (UTC)
