This is a list of cards which have appeared within the various Yu-Gi-Oh! series, but have not been named.

Contents

Manga

Yu-Gi-Oh!

Duel 009 cards

During Dark Yugi and Seto Kaiba's school Duel, a number of Monster Cards that appear on the counter at Kame Game as Sugoroku explains the rules of Duel Monsters to Yugi and his friends. The only ones with visible names were "Summoned Skull", "Hell-Bound", and "Giant Soldier of Stone". Another card from this scene appeared, labeled only as an "ally," as a character in the dice game included with Error rendering {{volume}} 🛈.

Yugi's Duel 010 cards

During Dark Yugi and Seto Kaiba's school Duel, Yugi played several monsters in an attempt to stall his opponent's powerful "Giant's Might"-equipped "Battle Ox", which were all quickly destroyed by "Battle Ox". Of the visible monsters destroyed this way, three of them were unnamed: "Half-Fish Man", a Level 3 monster, and a bald monster. "Half-Fish Man" was not named in the manga, but was named in other merchandise, such as the Yu-Gi-Oh! Super Complete Book.

Kaiba's Duel 010 monster

During Dark Yugi and Seto Kaiba's school Duel, Kaiba played an unnamed magician-looking monster.

Yugi's Death-T monsters

In Death T-5, Yugi's final showdown with Kaiba at Death-T, Yugi used several unnamed monsters. The first three seen are all destroyed by Kaiba's powered-up "Saggi the Dark Clown," while the fourth appears in Yugi's hand. The second and third monsters were replaced by "Chimera" and "Gremlin", respectively, in the Toei anime adaptation.

Kaiba's Death-T monster

In Death T-5, Yugi's final showdown with Kaiba at Death-T, while his "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" were immobilized by Yugi's "Swords of Revealing Light", Kaiba played a turtle-like monster in Defense Position. It appears in both the manga and the Toei anime.

Jonouchi's pre-Duelist Kingdom monsters

In Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 60 (Duelist Duel 1): "Challenge!!", Katsuya Jonouchi had a deck consisting exclusively of Monster Cards. At least ten of the cards are partially visible, without their names being readable or mentioned.

Yugi's round monster

In Dark Yugi and Insector Haga's Duel, Yugi played a spherical, insect-like monster in Defense Position.

Ventriloquist of the Dead's monster

In Dark Yugi and the Ventriloquist of the Dead's Duel, the Ventriloquist of the Dead played a one-eyed monster. Like the rest of the Ventriloquist's cards, it likely originally belonged to Kaiba's Deck.

In the anime, in which the Ventriloquist of the Dead was replaced by the Impersonator of Death, the Impersonator used "Mystic Horseman" instead.

Mai's Equip Card

In Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 77 (Duelist Duel 18): "On My Own", in a Duel between Mai Kujaku and a generic Duelist, Mai used an Equip Card to upgrade her "Harpy Lady Sisters" into "Harpy Queens", distinguished by their new tiaras.

Mai's opponent's monster

In Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 77 (Duelist Duel 18): "On My Own", in a Duel between Mai Kujaku and a generic Duelist, the generic Duelist played an unnamed monster that was destroyed by Mai's "Harpy Queens", winning Mai the Duel.

Jonouchi's Duelist Kingdom monsters

In Katsuya Jonouchi and Dinosaur Ryuzaki's Duel, Jonouchi played a knight-like monster in Defense Position.

In Katsuya Jonouchi and Seto Kaiba's Duel, Jonouchi played an unnamed monster.

Kaiba's briefcase

In the manga, when Kaiba opens his briefcase to tune his Deck, it shows 2 models of the prototype Duel Disks he developed, as well as several cards, including six face-up cards, all of which are unnamed. Among these cards are a Level 3 monster, a Level 4 monster, a Level 5 monster, and a monster with one visible Level star.

Chicken

In Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 93 (Duelist Duel 34): "Deathtrap Dungeon!", while the Meikŷu Brothers explain the rules of the Labyrinth Duel, a Level 3 chicken-like monster is shown.

In the anime, the chicken was replaced with "Penguin Knight".

Pegasus's monster

In Yugi and Pegasus's Duelist Kingdom Duel, Pegasus uses this monster and "Dark-Eyes Illusionist" to Ritual Summon "Relinquished". "Relinquished" has the appearance of a combination of "Dark-Eyes Illusionist" and this card.

In the anime, Pegasus uses "Dark-Eyes Illusionist" alone for the Ritual Summon.

Since it met the conditions for "Black Illusion Ritual", it is an Illusion monster and has less than 100 ATK.

Ryuzaki's monster

In Dinosaur Ryuzaki and Esper Roba's Duel, Dinosaur Ryuzaki used this monster. Esper Roba put it to sleep with "Mesmeric Control", before destroying it with "Jinzo".

In the anime, it is replaced with "Serpent Night Dragon".

Battle City participants' monsters

In Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 100 (Duelist Duel 41): "Duel Disk Battle!", two generic Battle City Duelists were shown using these two cards, one of which is a dragon, while the other is a knight.

In Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 111 (Duelist Duel 52): "The Promise", an aerial view of another Duel showed another three unnamed cards.

Nagumo's opponent's card

In Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 159 (Duelist Duel 100): "Behold the God!", a generic Duelist defeated by Koji Nagumo used this card. Koji won it through the ante rule, but demanded another rare card, as he thought its value did not compare to the card he wagered, "Hyozanryu".

Pandora's monster

In Dark Yugi and Pandora's Duel (manga), Pandora used a pumpkin-headed monster, which he later sacrifices along with Yugi's "Beta the Magnet Warrior" by way of "Coffin of Dark Resurrection" in order to Summon "Dark Magician".

In the anime, he uses "Mystic Tomato" instead.

Bakura's card

In Dark Yugi and Dark Bakura's Duel, this card is seen in Dark Bakura's hand. It is unknown whether this is a Monster, Spell or Trap Card.

It is speculated to be "Poltergeists", a card previously used by Dark Bakura.

Yu-Gi-Oh! R

Yako's monsters

In Yako Tenma and Yugi's first Duel, Yako used a trio of unnamed monsters as Tributes to Summon "The Wicked Avatar".[1]

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX

Jaden's opponent's monster

This monster was used by an unnamed opponent of Jaden Yuki and was destroyed by Jaden's "Elemental Hero Bubbleman".[2] This monster looks similar to "Elemental Hero Neos", Jaden's ace in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime.

Ryuga's monster

A dinosaur-like monster used by Mr. Ryuga against Jaden Yuki. It was destroyed by Jaden's "Elemental Hero Wildheart".[2]

Koyo's opponent's monster

A warrior-like monster by Koyo Hibiki's opponent in his World Championship title match. It was destroyed by Koyo's "Elemental Hero Absolute Zero".[3]

Axel's cards

These cards are seen in Axel Brodie's hand alongside "Electro Sergeant" in his Tag-Team Duel with Jim Crocodile Cook against Alexis Rhodes and Bastion Misawa.[4]

Aster's monster

Aster Phoenix used this monster against Alexis Rhodes. It was destroyed by Alexis' "Blizzard Princess", allowing Aster to move the "Vision Hero Increase" in his Graveyard to the Spell & Trap Card Zone since he took battle damage.[5]

Jim's monster

Jim Crocodile Cook used this monster against Bastion Misawa. He Tributed it alongside "Spawn Alligator" to Tribute Summon "The Tyrant Neptune". The effect of "The Tyrant Neptune" makes its own ATK the combined value of the Tributed monsters. Its ATK here was 3800, implying that this card's ATK was 1600, since the ATK of "Spawn Alligator" is 2200.[5]

Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's

Kalin's monster

A monster used by Kalin Kessler while he was a teen in the manga.[6]

Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V

Reiji's card

A card used by Reiji Akaba while Dueling Yuya Sakaki. Before playing this card, Reiji claimed that he would show Yuya the true power that his father left him. As he played it, it produced a demonic hand that revealed Eve's camera-like device, disappearing afterwards.[7]

It seems to be the arm of "D/D/D/D Super-Dimensional Sovereign Emperor Zero Paradox".

Ren's monster

A monster used by Ren in a flashback.[8]

Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V The Strongest Duelist Yuya!!

Planetarium Action Field

A Field used for the Action Duel between Yuya and Hokuto.[9]

TRANSCEND GAME

Several "Neurons" Duel Link monsters

While Mokuba is explaining what "Neurons" Duel Link is about, a page that depicted several unnamed monsters was shown.[10]

Anime

Yu-Gi-Oh! (Toei)

Yugi's explanation

In Yu-Gi-Oh! (Toei) episode 0033: "Clash! The Strongest Monster", while explaining Duel Monsters to his friends, Yugi Mutou said that there were "thousands of cards".[11] As he did so, seven monsters appeared in his thoughts, whose cards have squiggles in place of their names:

  • A dinosaur (Level 4/1000 ATK/700 DEF)
  • A grim reaper (Level 3/1100 ATK/800 DEF)
  • A noble (600 ATK/800 DEF)
  • A serpent (Level 5/900 ATK/700 DEF)
  • A dragon (1200 ATK/900 DEF)
  • A plant (Level 3/1300 ATK/800 DEF)
  • A bird

Cards in Kaiba's collection

In episode 3, Seto Kaiba showed some of the cards in his collection to Yugi and his friends. "Battle Ox", "Half-Fish Man", and "Mystic Lamp" were shown. Kaiba also showed an unnamed plant monster (Level 3/300 ATK/800 DEF) and three more cards that were only partially shown (including one monster with 1200 ATK/900 DEF).[11]

Cards in Kaiba's briefcase

In episode 3, Seto Kaiba tried to trade Sugoroku Mutou's "Blue-Eyes White Dragon", with an entire briefcase of rare cards. Sugoroku declined the offer due to the sentimental value he had for "Blue-Eyes" (it was given to him by an old friend). In the episode, two different scenes of the top of Kaiba's briefcase were shown, with different cards shown in each scene. Several of the cards are cards that have appeared elsewhere ("Battle Ox", "Skull Servant", etc.), but many unnamed cards appear as well.[11]

Miho's unnamed monster

In Yu-Gi-Oh! (Toei) episode 0088: "The Four Game Masters Finally Stir", Miho played her first Duel Monsters duel against Yugi Mutou, and ended up losing. In one scene, Miho had two monsters. The one of he right appears to be "Gremlin" (although it is highly blurred) and the other card is unknown.[12]

Cards used during Yugi and the nurse puppet's Duel

In episode 8, Yugi Mutou dueled a nurse puppet that was controlled by Ridley Sheldon. The duel was interrupted part-way through, and the episode showed a variety of cards used by both players, including "Mushroom Man", "Hellcat", "Sun", and many unnamed cards. In the background, the monster "Ghost" was shown fighting a silhouette that resembles "Dark Magician", and later "Koumori Dragon" was shown fighting a silhouette similar to "Mystical Elf". Several cards were then shown falling in front of Yugi, including "Gremlin" and "Death Wolf". The montage ends when the nurse puppet plays "Aphrodite".

At the end of the duel, while Yugi was sorting his cards, the nurse puppet took "Neon Knight" from him. A Monster Card representing some kind of beast (with 400 ATK and 200 DEF) was visible under "Neon Knight".[12]

Yugi's cards during Risa's attack

In Yu-Gi-Oh! (Toei) episode 01515: "Eerie Woman!! Unable to Transform", Risa Kageyama tried to steal the card "Red Hecate" from Yugi Mutou's deck. When she is discovered, she had thrown away many of Yugi's cards, including three unnamed ones.[13]

Cards in Yugi and Kaiba's Death-T duel

Two unnamed monsters were used in the Duel between Yami Yugi and Kaiba (one monster by each player, at the end of the Death-T arc). Both monsters were set in Defense Position and were not shown clearly. Yugi's monster was destroyed by Kaiba's "Blue-Eyes White Dragon", and Kaiba's monster lasted until Yugi had drawn the five pieces of "Exodia".[14]

Yu-Gi-Oh!

Gorilla monster

A gorilla-like monster wearing a spiked shoulder harness used against Leon von Schroeder in a flashback. It is destroyed by the effect of Leon's "Seven Kids," winning Leon the Duel.[15]

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX

Bastion's fire dragon

A fiery counterpart to "Water Dragon" Summoned by Bastion in the first Yu-Gi-Oh! GX opening, Fine Weather Rising Hallelujah. Despite its prominent appearance in the intro, it never appeared in the series.

Zane Truesdale and an unknown opponent's Spell Card

In Syrus Truesdale's dream, one of Jaden and Syrus's opponents activates an unnamed Spell Card, that takes control of Syrus "Patroid" and attacks Jaden directly.[16]

Amnael's meteor Spell

During his Duels with Alexis and Chazz, Amnael plays an unnamed Spell Card which causes a meteor strike that seems to destroy his opponent's monsters in some manner.[17]

Amnael's Mist Trap

During his Duel with Alexis, Amnael plays an unnamed Trap Card which causes a dark mist that seems to negate his opponent's monsters's attack in some manner.[17]

The Three Masked Knights

These spirits were seen when a Yubel-posessed Marcel Bonaparte fused them with three students to form the three masked knights. They disappeared before they were named.[18]

Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's

Akiza's card

During a flashback, Akiza is shown using this card to assault a Duelist.[19]

Kalin's Trap

During a flashback, Kalin is shown drawing a card from his Deck and placing it face-down in his Spell & Trap Zone, declaring "I activate my Trap!" This causes all of the Duel Disks confiscated by Sector Security to explode, resulting in an explosion at the Sector Security Headquarters. The card's face is never shown.[20]

Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL

Monsters from duels

A scene from Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL episode 0011: "Go With the Flow, Part 1", where Yuma and Tori watch over a field of Duelists. Some monsters appeared that were left unnamed, one of which is Level 4 with 1700 ATK and resembles "Jawsman", and the other two resemble "Black Ray Lancer".[21]

Boxing glove Trap

A Trap Card tripped by Yuma multiple times while riding the Duel Coaster, which shoots a spring-loaded giant boxing glove to deal 200 damage to him.[22]

Hyakunin Isshu Field

A Field Spell Card used during the Friendship Games.[23] The "Duel" held here is similar to a game of Karuta. This field was cut from the English dub, likely because of the difficulty of translating the Karuta-like "Duel" for western viewers.

Alito's Spell

Alito used an unnamed Spell Card to change his Warrior-Type "Battlin' Boxer Big Bandages" to Beast-Type. The card was neither shown nor seen, but his opponent Girag asked him why he "used that Spell Card" to do so. The card went unmentioned entirely in the dub.[24]

Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V

A Field Spell Card used for an Action Duel between Sora Perse and an unnamed opponent.[25]

Cage

An unnamed card that was used to imprison "Performapal Sky Magician".[33]
