Gillian, known as Mamoru Hatsugokoro in the Japanese version, is a character appearing in the Tag Force series. He is a Slifer Red student.

In Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force, when the player receives Gillian's Deck Recipe, they also receive a "Skull Servant". Gillian is also the opponent for any test's practical section if the player's score is low.

Gillian partners with Rei for the Tag Force Tournament.

Gillian uses WATER Decks in the first two Tag Force games. His Deck in the first game is identical to the player's Starter Deck in that game.

In Tag Force 3, Gillian uses Warrior Decks. His first Deck is once again the same as the player's Starter Deck, but his later Decks are more oriented towards the X-Saber archetype.
