A trio of Gokibore appeared in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monsters anime. The characters are based on the "Gokibore" card. However in-universe, they are said to be related to the otherwise unseen "Gokibore" piece in the Capsule Monsters game.
History
Shortly after Yugi Muto, Téa Gardner and Tristan Taylor entered the World of Capsule Monsters, they were pursued by the group of Gokibore who chased them by rolling and bouncing. Tristan was able warn the group as he could hear them coming. When they arrived Yugi recognized them as monsters from the Capsule Monsters game. They chased Yugi, Téa and Tristan until they encountered a Kamakiriman, at which point Yugi got separated from his friends. The three Gokibore continued to chase Téa and Tristan, who eventually escaped by ducking into a tunnel.[1]
