- This card is a retrained Monster Card counterpart of "Infinite Dismissal".
- This card's English name, "Infinite Antlion", and its Japanese name, "Giant Messiah", are based on the English and Japanese card names of "Infinite Dismissal" ("Messiah's Antlion Pit").
- This card's effect to Special Summon itself from the hand activates when an opponent's monster declares an attack, similar to the effect of "Infinite Dismissal" in the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime and manga, which could be activated when an opponent's monster declared an attack.
- This card's effect to destroy a card on each field activates when an Insect monster battles is similar to how Weevil Underwood activated "Infinite Dismissal" in Yu-Gi-Oh! episode The Gauntlet Is Thrown" and Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 60 (Duelist Duel 1): " 2: "Challenge!!", using it to trap "Two-Headed King Rex" before destroying both it and the vortex with his powered-up "Basic Insect".
