Explanation of Field Power Sources, with Wild Beast-Type (野獣族) mentioned in the "Grassland" (草原) box

Wild Beast (じゅう Yajū) is a Type in Duel Monsters in the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga. It was not included in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Card Game or any of the video games.

Wild Beast was mentioned in an explanation of the different fields on the Duelist Kingdom island. It was one of the Types that benefited from the Grasslands field.[1] Katsuya Jonouchi mentions it again while looking through his Deck to see what field best benefits his monsters. He concludes that his Deck contains mostly Warrior and Wild Beast-Type monsters, with "Wolf" seen among his cards.[2]
