Hana called her friend, Kiku, while she was sitting with Takeru Homura. Later, Kiku was kidnapped as part of a plot by Ryujiro and Kotaro Mizunuma to confront Takeru. Hana was sent to tell Takeru about Kiku and relay the group's message to come with a Duel Disk.[1]
