Heishin is the High Mage of the Amenhotep Dynasty. He is set on aquiring the Millennium Items to gain a great power.
Character biography
He steals six of the seven Millennium Items and invades the palace where the Prince (Atem, although he is never given this name in the game. The player names the character) resides. He attacks Shimon Muran using the Millennium Rod claiming he has discovered "great power". He searches for the Millennium Puzzle, but Simon manages to give it to Atem. Heishin then duels and defeats Atem and attempts to claim the Puzzle, but Shimon convinces the Prince to shatter the Puzzle. This resulted Simon sealing himself and Atem inside the Puzzle.
Before the Prince's return Heishin and his Mages gain control of and govern the land. After the Prince's return he is betayed by Seto, who leads the Prince's. Heishin duels but is defeated by the Prince. Heishin secretly follows the two of them and holds a dagger to Seto's neck. He says that he was aware of Seto's action's but played along. Seto was a descendent of a Dark clan. A member of that family was required to perform the ritual. He demands the Prince hand over the Items if he wants Seto to live. The Prince hands over the Items and Heishin uses them to summon DarkNite.
Heishin attempts to command DarkNite but DarkNite refuses and turns Heishin into a card. Claiming the card to be one of the noiseist not to mention ugliest cards he ever created, he says it doesn't deserve a place in his deck and burns it.
Deck
Heishin's Deck contains many powerful cards including "Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth" and "B. Skull Dragon". The second time the prince faces him he includes "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" and "Gate Guardian" in his Deck.
"Exodia the Forbidden" can be won off Heishin, the second time the player faces him.
