"Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin":

Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin first appears in the anime in the second season when Jaden tries to leave Duel Academy. He tells him about Neo-Space and gives him the Neo-Spacian cards. Although quite talkative in his first appearance, he does not say much in future episodes. He is voiced by Masaaki Ishikawa in the Japanese version.

In his first appearance, Aqua Dolphin's back is completely blue, but in subsequent appearances, he has white markings on his back (a little bit of which can be seen on the card art). His effect can be activated multiple times per turn in his first appearance, as well.

In episode 62, Jaden uses this card during his duel against The Alien of Light. He summons this card via "Contact". Jaden then Tributes his two Fluff Tokens to summon "Elemental HERO Neos". Jaden then discards "Fusion Sage" in order to activate this card's effect and look at the Alien's hand. He selects "Different Dimension Dragon" from the Alien's hand. Since Jaden controls "Neos", "Different Dimension Dragon" is destroyed and the Alien takes 500 damage. Jaden then discards another "Fusion Sage" in order to activate this card's effect and look at the Alien's hand. He selects "D.D. Scout Plane" from the Alien's hand. Since Jaden controls "Neos", "D.D. Scout Plane" is destroyed and the Alien takes 500 damage. Jaden then discards "Polymerization" in order to activate this card's effect and look at the Alien's hand. Jaden selects "D.D. Crazy Beast" from the Alien's hand. Since Jaden controls "Neos", "D.D. Scout Plane" is destroyed and the Alien takes 500 damage. This card remained on the field until the Duel was over.

In episode 67, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Aster Phoenix. He summons this card in Attack Position. Jaden then activates "Fake Hero" to Special Summon "Elemental HERO Bladedge". Jaden then discards "Hero Kid" in order to activate this card's effect and look at Aster's hand. He then selects "Destiny HERO - Captain Tenacious" from Aster's hand. Since Jaden controls "Bladedge", "Captain Tenacious" is destroyed and Aster takes 500 damage. Later "Destiny HERO - Dreadmaster" (whose ATK was 2800 due to its own effect) attacks this card, but Jaden activates "Negate Attack" to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase. Jaden then uses the effect of "Mausoleum of the Emperor" to pay 1000 Life Points and Normal Summon "Elemental HERO Neos" with no Tributes. He then Contact Fuses this card with "Neos" in order to Special Summon "Elemental HERO Aqua Neos".

In episode 68, this card is shown when Jaden is showing his new cards to his friends.

In episode 72, during Jaden's duel against Howard X Miller, Jaden is forced to send this card from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard via the effect of "Monster Register".

In episode 102, this card can be seen in Jaden's hand during his Duel against Sartorius. In the next episode, Jaden summons this card in Defense Position. Later "Arcana Force IV - The Emperor" attacks and destroys this card. The effect of "Arcanatic Doomscythe" then activates, inflicting damage to Jaden equal to this card's ATK. The final effect of "Light Barrier" then activates, increasing Sartorius's Life Points by this card's original ATK.

In episode 105, this card appears in a flashback Jaden has when he notes that even though he lost to Aster when the latter used his real Deck, it gave him the chance to see the Neo-Spacians who later became his friends.

In episode 106, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Jesse Anderson. After he summons this card, Jaden activates this card's effect to send "Elemental HERO Neos" from his hand to the Graveyard and look at Jesse's hand. He then selects "Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle" from Jesse's hand. Since Jaden controls this card, "Ruby Carbuncle" is destroyed and Jesse takes 500 damage. Jaden then activates "O - Oversoul" to Special Summon "Neos" from his Graveyard. Jesse then activates "Triggered Summon" to allow both players to summon a Level 4 or lower monster from their hand. Jaden summons "Neo-Spacian Grand Mole" while Jesse summons "Crystal Beast Cobalt Eagle". After "Neos" and "Grand Mole" attack and destroy "Crystal Beast Emerald Tortoise" and "Crystal Beast Cobalt Eagle", this card attacks Jesse directly. In the next episode, "Crystal Beast Topaz Tiger" attacks this card. Due to the effect of "Topaz Tiger", it gains 400 ATK during the Damage Step only. "Topaz Tiger" then destroys this card.

In episode 108, this card is shown in a flashback Professor Viper has when he notes that all the Duel Energy he just got was from the exhibition match between Jaden and Jesse.

In episode 118, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Professor Viper. After Jaden Normal Summons this card, Jaden activates "NEX" to send this card to the Graveyard and Special Summon "Neo-Spacian Marine Dolphin" from his Extra Deck.

Jaden uses this card in his duel against the Yubel-possessed Jesse. He summons it via "Contact". After bringing back "Neos" via "O - Oversoul", Jaden returns this card, "Neos" and "Neo-Spacian Air Hummingbird" to his Deck to Fusion Summon "Elemental HERO Storm Neos".

Jaden uses this card in his final duel against Yubel. He summons it via "Neo-Space Wave". Yubel then attacks this card with "Yubel" with the latter's effect preventing its destruction. "Yubel"'s other effect then makes Jaden take all the Battle Damage Yubel would have taken. "Yubel" then attacks this card again due to "Zero Sprite" with "Yubel"'s effect preventing its destruction. "Yubel"'s other effect then makes Jaden take all the Battle Damage Yubel would have taken. This card is later attacked by "Yubel - Terror Incarnate" with the latter's effect preventing its destruction. "Terror Incarnate"'s other effect then makes Jaden take all the Battle Damage Yubel would have taken. Jaden then Tributes this card to summon "Elemental HERO Prisma".

Jaden uses this card in his third duel against Trueman. He sends this card from his hand to the Graveyard via the effect of "Convert Contact".

During Jaden's second Duel against Sartorius, this card can be seen when Jaden remembers the cards that have helped him many times in duels.

Jaden uses this card in his final Duel with Nightshroud. He uses "Future Vision to send this card, "Flare Scarab", "Air Hummingbird", "Grand Mole" and "Glow Moss" from his Deck to the Graveyard. He then returns this card, "Neos" and the five other "Neo-Spacians" to his Deck to Fusion Summon "Elemental HERO Divine Neos". Jaden then uses the latter's effect to banish this card and the five other "Neo-Spacians" as part of his game winning move.

In episode 178, this card can be seen in the background when Jaden makes his speech to Nightshroud.

Jaden uses this card in his Duel against Yugi Muto. He chooses "Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab", this card, and "Elemental HERO Clayman" for the effect of "Subspatial Battle" while Yugi chooses "Buster Blader", "Black Luster Soldier", and "Valkyrion the Magna Warrior". Since all of Yugi's chosen monsters are stronger than Jaden's chosen monsters, Jaden's chosen monsters are destroyed while Yugi adds his chosen monsters to his hand.
