Joey Wheeler, known as Katsuya Jonouchi (城之内（じょうのうち）克也（かつや） Jōunouchi Katsuya) in the Japanese version, is a character in Yu-Gi-Oh! Nightmare Troubadour. This is the game's incarnation of Joey Wheeler, from the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime and manga.

Appearances

Joey can be met and dueled since the very beginning of the game, at any time of the day. He is also the first opponent the player faces in the Beginner Cup, and helps the player reclaim their prize after it is stolen.

Until the end of the Beginner Cup, Joey can be found in the first map. Once the Expert Cup begins, he can be found more frequently in the second map.

After the player defeats a specific Rare Hunter, Joey will be brainwashed by Marik. He will have a total of two Shadow Games with the player at different times, the second of which must end in a draw to continue the game. During this time, he cannot be dueled normally.
