- This card can be searched by "Triple Tactics Thrust", "Endymion, the Mighty Master of Magic", and other generic searchers.
- Note that Gemini monsters are qualified as Normal Monsters after sent to the Graveyard.
- "Chthonian Emperor Dragon" with "Blaster, Dragon Ruler of Infernos" is a good example.
- Send "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" from the Deck to the Graveyard. Then, send "Red-Eyes Wyvern" from the Deck to the Graveyard.
- "Meteor Dragon" can accompany "Red-Eyes" to the Graveyard, so that "Dragon's Mirror" can fuse them into "Meteor Black Dragon" or "Meteor Black Comet Dragon".
- Send "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" or "Dragon Spirit of White", then send "The White Stone of Legend" to add 1 more "Blue-Eyes" to your hand, or "The White Stone of Ancients" to Special Summon any Blue-Eyes monster from your Deck during the End Phase. That way, your Deck will be thinned by three cards.
- This card can be used in "Chaos Dragon" Decks. Use this card's effect to mill a Normal LIGHT or DARK Dragon, and then use its secondary effect to mill a Dragon of the opposite Attribute, setting up for Chaos Plays. Discard "Eclipse Wyvern" to add another Dragon to your hand.
- In a Gemini Deck, this card can send two Dragon-Type Gemini monsters to the Graveyard, so "Dragon's Mirror" can be used to banish them and Fusion Summon "Superalloy Beast Raptinus".
- "Kidmodo Dragon", "Totem Dragon", and "Eclipse Wyvern" are excellent choices as Dragons with effects to activate after sending them to the Graveyard.
- This card can also be used in "Dragon Ruler" Decks. Since "Foolish Burial" is Limited, this makes up for the difference and like "Gold Sarcophagus" it helps set up your plays.
- The monster(s) sent for the Graveyard by this effect can be Special Summoned by "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon".
