Julian is Rafael's brother who was killed along with Sonia and their parents by a ship who the captain was Dartz.
Background
However, Rafael survived but sad that they died. After his second duel with Yami Yugi, he appears again when his guardians and his family appear again. After The Great Leviathan was destroyed, he appeared again saying that he will always be in his heart with his sister and parents.
