[[Industrial Illusions]], led by [[Yako Tenma]] hacked into [[KaibaCorp]]'s computed system, resulting in panic at the KaibaCorp head office. [[Isono (manga)|Isono]] ordered a complete system shutdown, despite knowing it would stop [[Duel Disk]]s all over the world from functioning. However Tenma gained control before they were able to do so. A [[Solid Vision]] projection of himself appeared in the office building and he floated towards the [[Duel Ring Server]], which his master, [[Maximillion J. Pegasus (manga)|Maximillion J. Pegasus]], had previously strived to own.<ref name="r 1">{{chapter|Yu-Gi-Oh! R|1|ref}}</ref>
