- This card can be searched by "Disciple of Nephthys", "Devotee of Nephthys", "Awakening of Nephthys", "Nephthys, the Sacred Preserver", "Simorgh, Bird of Sovereignty", "Swallow's Nest", "Animadorned Archosaur", "Ninjitsu Art of Transformation", "Magical Contract Door", and other generic searchers.
- This card can be Tribute Summoned with one Tribute using "Double Coston" and "The First Monarch".
- You can use "Destiny HERO - Dasher" to Special Summon this card, and its effect will still activate.
- This card can combo well with "Escape from the Dark Dimension", continually putting pressure on your opponents Spell and Trap cards. However, beware an empty field, as the effect of "Dark Nephthys" is mandatory, therefore destroying "Escape from the Dark Dimension" and banishing "Dark Nephthys" again.
- Use "Gold Sarcophagus" or "Allure of Darkness" to make this combo even faster.
- Banishing 2 "D.D. Scout Planes" would Summon them as well as "Dark Nephthys" (total of 3 monsters) more-or-less within one turn.
- Special Summon this card with the effect of "Light and Darkness Dragon" last effect so you get a fairly strong monster as well as destroying one of your opponent's Spell or Trap Cards.
- This card can help regulate the number of DARK monsters in your graveyard for the summoning condition of "Dark Armed Dragon".
- This card can do well in a Blackwing deck. It's a DARK, Winged Beast and it can work well after you Synchro Summon with any Blackwings to have a powerful monster on the field and destroy one of your opponents Spells or Traps the next turn.
- This card effect work well with Spell/Trap cards whose effect activates when they are destroyed or sent to the Graveyard such as "Dark Coffin" and "Limiter Overload".
