- This card can be searched by "Trap Trick", "Trap Track", "Lady Labrynth of the Silver Castle", "Lilith, Lady of Lament", "Triple Tactics Thrust", "Angel of Blue Tears", "Farewelcome Labrynth", "Labrynth Set-Up", and other generic searchers.
- If you activate this card, "Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind" and "Blackwing - Bora the Spear" can benefit the best, as they are both considered Special Summons if another "Blackwing" monster is on the field.
- Use this card with "Icarus Attack" to perform many combos:
- Revive the monster you Tributed as you destroy your opponent's cards.
- Have the Revived monster attack more than once.
- Use "Blackwing - Sirocco the Dawn's" effect to power up another monster, "Icarus Attack" "Sirocco", then revive him to activate the effect once more.
- You can attempt an OTK using this card. Requires 2 "Blackwing - Sirocco the Dawn", 1 "Swallow's Nest", and any other "Blackwing" monster (preferably "Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind", "Blackwing - Bora the Spear" or "Blackwing - Zephyros the Elite" as their Special Summon effects are useful):
- Initial setup: Any turn after the turn "Blackwing - Sirocco the Dawn" has been Normal Summoned to the field, Special Summon "Gale" or "Bora" or "Zephyrus".
- 1. Activate the effect of "Blackwing - Sirocco the Dawn" to boost the other monster's ATK by 2000.
- 2. Activate "Swallow's Nest" and Tribute "Sirocco" to Special Summon another one from the Deck.
- 3. Activate "Black Back" to revive the first "Sirocco" from the graveyard.
- 4. Activate both "Sirocco" effects again to boost the other monster's attack by 4000 Each.
- Use "Giant Trunade"/"Icarus Attack" (Tributing a "Sirocco") to clear the backfield and attack more safely for game.
- Beware of "Book of Moon" the turn you attempt this or "Honest" if you must attack a LIGHT monster.
