- This card can be searched by "Toon Dark Magician", "Triple Tactics Thrust", "Endymion, the Mighty Master of Magic", another "Toon Table of Contents", and other generic searchers.
- Since this card can search copies of itself or other "Toon" cards, it is ideal for use in Deck thinning.
- If using a Deck that relies on Spell Card activations, such as Spell Counter Decks, a copy of "Toon Bookmark" can be searched with the last copy of "Toon Table of Contents", followed by "Toon World" which can be included as the last card to search by that card's effect, effectively thinning your deck by five cards and generating five counters.
- Alternatively, "Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon" can be searched so that it can be used for "Trade-In".
- In "Forbidden One" Decks, "Royal Magical Library" is an ideal card to use for profiting from these activations.
- Another option is to search "Toon Cyber Dragon". There are numerous options to advance from this, but a notable one is that you can easily summon "Chimeratech Megafleet Dragon" to clear the Extra Monster Zones.
- If using a Deck that relies on Spell Card activations, such as Spell Counter Decks, a copy of "Toon Bookmark" can be searched with the last copy of "Toon Table of Contents", followed by "Toon World" which can be included as the last card to search by that card's effect, effectively thinning your deck by five cards and generating five counters.
- This card is a strictly better version of "Gather Your Mind", since it can also search additional cards instead of copies of itself, and has no limitations on its usage.
- This card works well with "Spell Absorption".
- This card can also work well with cards that benefit from Setting Spell/Trap Cards, such as "Worm Illidan", since Normal Spell Cards can be activated during the same turn they are Set.
- This card works well with "Ritual Sanctuary" (even in a Deck that doesn't use Ritual Spell Cards or Ritual Monsters), practically guaranteeing one can indefinitely revive a Level 1 LIGHT Fairy-Type monster each turn, as long as a copy of this card is left in the hand.
- This card is ideal for gaining more "Spellbook" Spell Cards from the effect of "Spellbook of Judgment".

- This card can be combined with "Dirge of the Lost Dragon" to lower one's LP to 1000, which can be useful for various card effects, most notably "Self-Destruct Button".
