Ultimate Magical, known as Super Magical (ちょうどう Chōmadō) in the OCG and translated as Mighty Magic in the English manga, is a series of Level 8 DARK Spellcaster Fusion Monsters with "Dark Magician" and other cards famously used by Yugi Muto as Fusion Material. While each card in the series has "Super Magical" in their Japanese name, there is no commonality among the cards' English names.

"Dark Paladin" is the originator of the series, debuting 16 years before the other monsters, whose visual designs take heavy inspiration from "Dark Paladin". Each monster visually appears to be "Dark Magician" with upgraded armor and weapons that resemble another specific monster, although the actual second Fusion Material required may vary. In the case of "The Dark Magicians", the other material, "Dark Magician Girl", appears alongside the "Dark Magician", rather than contributing to the design of his armor.

  1. "Dark Magician the Knight of Dragon Magic" is not a true member of the series, as it is a Dragon monster and does not use the kanji for Super Magical (超魔導).
  2. The kanji for Dragon Magical Knight (竜魔導騎士) is a combination of the kanji of "Dark Cavalry" (超魔導騎士, "Super Magical Knight") and the kanji of "Gaia the Dragon Champion" (竜騎士, "Dragon Knight).
