• In an "Ogdoadic" Deck, there is a combo in which this card is a fundamental part, where it is possible to have at least a +8 in card advantage. For this combo to work, the opponent must have 4 empty Main Monster Zones, while the player must have "Hieratic Dragon of Eset" in hand and "Nauya, the Ogdoadic Remnant", "Nunu, the Ogdoadic Remnant", and "Keurse, the Ogdoadic Light" in the Graveyard (this can be easily accomplished by cards like "Nauya, the Ogdoadic Remnant" and "Snake Rain").
  1. Normal Summon "Hieratic Dragon of Eset".
  2. Special Summon "Keurse, the Ogdoadic Light" from your Graveyard by Tributing "Hieratic Dragon of Eset".
  3. Special Summon "Nauya, the Ogdoadic Remnant" from your Graveyard with the effect of "Keurse, the Ogdoadic Light"; and Special Summon "Dragon Core Hexer" from your Deck with the effect of "Hieratic Dragon of Eset".
  4. Add "Ogdoadic Water Lily" from your Deck to your hand using the effect of "Nauya, the Ogdoadic Remnant".
  5. Special Summon "Nunu, the Ogdoadic Remnant" from your Graveyard using its own effect.
  6. Xyz Summon "King of the Feral Imps" using "Nunu, the Ogdoadic Remnant" and "Nauya, the Ogdoadic Remnant".
  7. Add "Lightserpent" from your Deck to your hand using the effect of "King of the Feral Imps".
  8. Special Summon "Phantasmal Lord Ultimitl Bishbaalkin" to an Extra Monster Zone using "Dragon Core Hexer" and "Keurse, the Ogdoadic Light".
  9. Special Summon 4 Tokens to each field using the effect of "Phantasmal Lord Ultimitl Bishbaalkin".
  10. Link Summon "Reptilianne Echidna" using "Phantasmal Lord Ultimitl Bishbaalkin" and "King of the Feral Imps".
  11. Add 4 Reptile monsters from your Deck to your hand using the effect of "Reptilianne Echidna" (since the Tokens have 0 ATK). (Do not add "Reptilianne Lamia", as 1 copy needs to remain in the Deck or Graveyard.)
  12. Fill the Graveyard with the Reptiles searched by "Echidna", so that you have at least 5 Reptile monsters with different names in your Graveyard.
  13. Activate "Water Lily", sending "Reptilianne Lamia" to the Graveyard (unless it is already there, in which case any Reptile can be sent), then Special Summon "Reptilianne Lamia".
  14. Synchro Summon "Reptilianne Hydra" using "Reptilianne Lamia" and 4 Tokens.
  • 1. If your opponent controls any monsters other than the Tokens, use the effect of "Reptilianne Lamia" to make their ATK 0.
  1. Use the effect of "Reptilianne Hydra" to destroy all of the Tokens, plus any other monsters whose ATK was changed to 0 by the effect of "Reptilianne Lamia", to draw 4-6 cards.
  • At this point, if the player has copies of "Lightserpent" in the hand, they can be discarded by cards like "Zohah, the Ogdoadic Boundless" and/or "Flogos, the Ogdoadic Boundless", in order to Special Summon themselves from the Graveyard, giving a total of 4 monsters ("Echidna", "Hydra", and 2 "Lightserpents"). They should be Tributed to Special Summon "Aron, the Ogdoadic King" and "Amunessia, the Ogdoadic Queen", whose effects can control the game during the opponent's turn, sniping cards in their hand and disrupting their strategy. This combo starts with a relatively specific but easily achievable set up and ends with having at least 2 monsters on the field, 6 cards in hand and countless Reptiles in the Graveyard.

Summoning

• To obtain a Level 8 or higher Tuner monster, a card effect can be used on a Level 8 or higher non-Tuner monster to treat it as a Tuner.
  • "Wicked Acolyte Chilam Sabak" is a Level 8 monster that treats itself as a Tuner.

• This card works very well in a Dinosaur/"True King" deck that implements "Denglong, First of the Yang Zing". By sending a "True King" to the graveyard while you control "Denglong" and another "True King", you can easily summon this card. The tokens also make great attack targets for "Ultimate Conductor Tyranno".
• This card can easily be summoned in a Blue-Eyes Deck, by using Dragon Core Hexer.
• To obtain the Level 8 or higher monsters, cards can be used to change the Levels of monster under your control.
  • Use "Galaxy Queen's Light" to make all your monsters Level 8 or higher, as long as one is already under your control.
  • This monster can easily Summoned in a "Infernoid" Deck, since there is access to non-Tuner monsters with high Levels, and the Tuner "Infernoid Decatron" which can change its Level to high values.
  • Use "Tannhauser Gate" with two Level 4 or higher monsters of the same Type with ATK 1000 or lower (one Tuner and other non-Tuner) to Summon this card.
  • "Accel Synchron" can easily manipulate its Level to become the Level 8 or higher Tuner monster.
  • "Copy Plant" can make its Level the same as one of the Plant Princesses or "Sylvan Hermitree".

• Use the effect of "Vennu, Bright Bird of Divinity" to change a Tuner monster's Level to 8, then use that Tuner and "Vene" to Summon this card.
  • Alternatively, "Galactic Spiral Dragon" can also be used in a similar method to summon this card.

• While "Labradorite Dragon" is in your Graveyard and you control a Level 5 or 6 "Hieratic" monster, Normal Summon "Dragard" to Special Summon "Labradorite Dragon". Then, activate the effect of "Dragard" by Tributing the "Hieratic" monster to change "Labradorite Dragon" to Level 8. Then when the effect of the "Hieratic" monster activates, Special Summon a Level 8 non-Tuner Dragon-Type monster.

• If you control a Level 5 or 6 "Hieratic" monster, Tribute it to Normal Summon "Hieratic Dragon of Eset", then use the effect of the Tributed monster to Special Summon "Dragon Core Hexer". Finally, use the effect of "Eset" to match its Level with that of "Dragon Core Accursed".

• Use "Ultimaya Tzolkin" to Special Summon "Life Stream Dragon" (as the Tuner) or a Level 8 non-Tuner Synchro Monster to use to Summon this card.

Using its effects

• Since the Tokens can be Summoned during either player's Main Phase, this card's effect can be Chained to an opponent's effect that would Summon a monster(s) when it resolves, so that their field is full when it resolves.

• Use "Safe Zone" or "Mist Body" to prevent it from being destroyed by battle either, and use "Safe Zone" or "Mound of the Bound Creator" to prevent it from being targeted.

• Use "Mask of Restrict" to prevent your opponent from Tributing the Tokens, such as in a "Monarchs" Deck.

• Use "Staunch Defender", or "All-Out Attacks" with a card like "Raregold Armor", to force your opponent's Tokens to attack this card.

• Use "Black Garden" (after Summoning this monster) to guarantee that the last Monster Zone on the opponent's field is filled by a "Rose Token".

• Use cards like "Big Bang Shot", "Dragon's Rage", "Meteorain" or "Fairy Meteor Crush", or the Pendulum Effect of "Performapal Camelump", to inflict piercing battle damage with this card. Note that it cannot attack the turn your Tokens are Summoned.

• Tribute the Tokens to Summon an "Egyptian God" card.

• Use the Tokens as Fusion Materials to Fusion Summon "First of the Dragons".

• Use two of the tokens to Link Summon "Union Carrier" then equip "Earthbound Immortal Aslla piscu" to another token. Link Summon using that Token and use "Aslla piscu"'s effect to deal massive damage.

Traditional Format/OCG

• In a "Yang Zing" Deck:
  1. Normal Summon "Jiaotu" and use its effect to Special Summon "Zefraniu, Secret of the Yang Zing" and "Chiwen, Light of the Yang Zing".
  2. Synchro Summon "Yazi, Evil of the Yang Zing" and use its effect, by targeting itself.
  3. Use the second effect of "Yazi" Special Summon "Mare Mare", and activate the effect of "Chiwen" in the Graveyard, Special Summoning itself.
  4. Special Summon 2 Tokens with the effect of "Mare Mare".
  5. Link Summon "Crystron Halqifibrax" by using "Jiaotu" and a Token and use its effect to Special Summon a second "Chiwen".
  6. Special Summon a third "Mini Mare Mare Token".
  7. Synchro Summon "Denglong, First of the Yang Zing", using "Mare Mare" and one Token (You can then use the effect of "Denglong" to search a "Yang Zing" Spell/Trap, preferably "Nine Pillars of Yang Zing").
  8. Use the second effect of "Denglong" to send a second "Mare Mare" to the graveyard.
  9. Synchro Summon "Baxia, Brightness of the Yang Zing", by using "Denglong" and the remaining Token.
  10. Use the last effect of "Denglong" to Special Summon any non-Tuner, non-Pendulum "Yang Zing" monster.
  11. Use the effect of "Baxia" to destroy the newly Summoned "Yang Zing" and Special Summon "Jiaotu".
  12. Use the effect of the destroyed "Yang Zing" to Special Summon a second "Zefraniu".
  13. Synchro Summon "Power Tool Dragon" with "Chiwen" and "Zefraniu".
  14. Synchro Summon "Life Stream Dragon" with the second "Chiwen" and "Power Tool Dragon".
  15. Special Summon this card with "Life Stream" and "Baxia".
